CoARA launches a series of online exchange events
To further enhance mutual exchange across the coalition and with an aim to provide more inclusive peer exchange mechanisms, CoARA is happy to announce the launch of a series of online exchange events. The first events will focus on two dedicated series: Action Plan Drop-In sessions and a CoARA Spotlight series.
Action Plan Drop-In Sessions with the CoARA Steering Board
- Monthly online sessions on the 3rd Friday of each month at 11h, providing a platform for informal discussions with CoARA Steering Board members to discuss all things related to Action Plan development.
CoARA Spotlight Series
- Presentations featuring key spotlights from CoARA members driving research assessment reform, followed by a Q&A session. The first iterations of the series will focus on the current work of CoARA's key communities of practice, Working Groups and National Chapters.

- CoARA Spotlight: NOR-CAM Framework
- Thursday November 6th, 2025 at 11h-12h (CET)
- Ragnar Lie, Co-Chair of the NC Norway, will present on the evolution of the NOR-CAM framework and its recent uptake in countries like Finland, Sweden, and Poland. Additional presenters TBC.

- CoARA Spotlight: Transformative RA Societal Impacts
- Thursday November 27th, 2025 at 14h-15h (CET)
- Raimund Blesichwitz, Teresa Sorde Marti, and Alexandra Bika, WG Co-Chairs from the Towards Transformations subgroup on Societal Impacts, will present their output, Transformative Research Assessment: Integrating Societal Impacts into Evaluation Frameworks. The output is soon to be the first CoARA Community endorsed Type B output that will add to the rich pool of resources in the future CoARA Library. Join the session to hear about their methodology, aims, and findings!
